How the cost estimate works

Quantity is calculated first: area × depth, converted to cubic yards and tons using the material density. Cost is then applied to the recommended quantity, which includes your extra-material allowance.

  • Priced per ton: recommended tons × price per ton
  • Priced per cubic yard: recommended cubic yards × price per cubic yard
  • Estimated total: material cost + delivery fee + sales tax

This site does not publish gravel prices. Rates vary by region, material, season, and haul distance, so enter a quote or published price from your own supplier.
